Pronunciation Tips (A1–A2)
- Could/Would: short “u” like in “book” (kud/wood)
- Vegetables: VEJ-uh-tuh-buhlz (not “vege-ta-bulls”)
- Receipt: ruh-SEET (p is silent)
- Schedule: SHEH-jool (US: SKED-jool also okay)
